Suffice it to say that we are thrilled and honoured to be the pastors of Living Faith Christian Church here in Collingwood. I believe this to be a divine appointment; that is God has steered and guided our lives carefully and skilfully so that we are where we are right now. It is a challenging yet exciting time for the body of Christ, both here in Canada and throughout the world.

The god of this world is doing all within his power and influence to close the door of opportunity to the lost and dying people of this world. With so many of the things we hold dear under attack - moral standards, family life, our own time and resources, our strongly held personal beliefs - it is vital that there is a loud, clear and united voice rising above the confusion. That voice is to be the church of the Lord Jesus Christ, delivering the message of grace and salvation with clarity, authority and confidence! Whether you are a mature Christian, a child of God who has wandered astray, or just seeking the truth, let me reiterate what Jesus Himself said, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life."

Our desire here is to point you to Jesus, so that you can find true freedom and meaning in His breathtaking, sacrificial love, and to help you to take the steps you need to fulfil your unique God-given purpose and destiny, as you endeavour to serve Him as a direct response to that love. I've heard it said, "It's not that I have to, it's that I get to!" Whether we're talking about going to church, serving God or letting go of those things we know in our heart of hearts that we need to give up.
 

My Christian journey started with my mother taking us to Sunday school at the local Anglican church when we were young. From there we moved to a Baptist church and we all gave our hearts to the Lord. Shortly afterwards, my step-father was miraculously healed of Crohn's disease and this gave our family a revelation of and taste for the power of God and the authority of His Word.

From there, we fully engaged in the charismatic 80's and were introduced to the man I would consider my spiritual father and inspiration, Australian evangelist Steve Ryder, through a series of crusades in London.

To cut a long story short (as we would say in England), I had an opening to work and travel with Steve Ryder after graduating from University. It was at that point, particularly on our missions trips to Czechoslovakia, just after the fall of the iron curtain, observing both the desperate need of a hurting people and the phenomenal power and willingness of God to meet that need, that I received my personal call to the ministry ... and so the training process begun!

I taught Mathematics in three boys schools in England, serving as Deputy Headmaster in the third from 1996 to 2003, before the opportunity came to move to Peterborough, Ontario, to serve as Associate Pastor at Christian Victory Church.

Just over three years later we moved to Collingwood, ON, to take over the pastoral position here at Living Faith CC.
